Hello Cheryl,

This is Charlie Carnes. I hope
you are  doing well. I think of you often, especially since Tom has gone to be
with our  Lord. I wanted you to know that I think about you and have asked
family members  if they have talked to you and asked how you have been, mainly
Dad and Uncle  Larry.

I never knew the how you and Tom meet. It means so
much to me to  read your story and hear your kind words. I always felt like I
should call him  Uncle Tom because of our age difference and from time to time I
do call him  uncle, but I know he is my cousin.

Tom means so much to me.
I have so  many fond memories and stories that I share with friends and family.
He means so  much to my dad and brothers as well. I asked Uncle Larry about you
and he told  me about your ministry. What a wonder ministry God has called you
to. I will  pray for you and your calling. I will pray for continued comfort for
you as  well.

Know that Cheryl and I love you and want you to call upon
us for  anything that you may need.

In Christ,

Charlie Carnes

Hello Mrs Carter, I was searching the net for Cowboy Poetry. I came across The Cowboy. As I read the poem . It is clear this poem was written from the heart about a cowboy, the writer deeply love. I followed the link to read more poetry because I was curious. Mrs. Carter you have my deepest sympathies for your loss. Your husband must have been quite a man. I am not a crier, but my tears flowed. When I read your poem. It was a Tom Carter funeral.
I intended to read a few more poems then move on to the  next cowboy poetry site .On your homepage I read your story . The Letter, I have sent this link to my daughter in New Mexico . I do not believe I found this site by accident. I think God intended me to read The Letter. My daughter left Colorado a few months ago because of a broken marriage. She too, is happy being mad. Thank you Mrs. Carter, for sharing your story and
poetry. You are a courageous woman.
